4th Grade Happenings

Spelling: Test will be on Friday.
Reading: Vocabulary Lessons Quizzes on Friday,Â
Quizlet is available to study with each week. Click on the word “Quizlet” under the Vocabulary Builder tab and it will connect you to the link to the website.
Grammar: Weekly lessons will vary – We will share what we are working on in Seesaw
Reading Homework: Reading at least 20-30 minutes per night.Â
Math: Multiplication – start practicing facts!
PRACTICE MATH FACTSÂ – Please practice math facts every chance you may get. They will need to have these facts memorized to be successful in math at every level.
Thank you for your attention to this important matter.
Social Studies: We will study each region this year. States, capitals, abbreviations, and other information will be shared as we are learning.Â
Science:Â We will have science on Tuesday and Thursday with Mr. Wielenberg.

SPELLING CITY
Spelling City to practice online
**Spelling tests will be on Thursdays each week. (Retakes will be offered on Friday, only if needed.)** The list of spelling words will be in the students’ take-home binders. Please have your 4th grader keep that list in his/her binder to study from. The link to practice online at Spelling City is above.
xtramath.org is where we are practicing math fact fluency this year. Your student should know his or her username or password.
