 Hello, My name is Carrie Schrecengost and I am excited to start my 18th year of teaching and my 6th year at the Pipestone Area School.  This will be my first year teaching in the Pipestone School District.  I will be teaching 3rd – 5th grade title at Pipestone Area  Elementary School.   I attended Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD, and received my B.A in elementary education in 2005. In 2010, I received my Master of Education in reading from the University of Sioux Falls. In my past teaching experience, I have taught first grade (7 years), Reading Specialist K-4 (3 years), and RTI Coordinator (3 Years). I currently live in Flandreau S.D. with my husband, two children, and three dogs. My daughter Carleigh is five years old and is a kindergartner at PAS. She loves gymnastics, puppies, reading, and pizza. My son Liam is seven years old and is a second grader at PAS. Liam loves basketball, football, his three dogs, reading, and tacos.  In our spare time, we love to go camping, biking, kayaking, walks, and spending time with friends and family. I look forward to working with students, colleagues, and the Pipestone Community.  Have a great 2023-2024 school year!!  Sincerely,                               If you can DREAM it, you can DO it!! |
