College Credits offered through the
University of Minnesota or Saint Cloud State University.
Pipestone Area School is a CERTIFIED Project Lead the Way School.  This means students taking a full year of Introduction to Engineering (IED), Principles of Engineering (POE), Digital Electronics (DE) or Civil Engineering and Architecture (CEA) and passing the End of Course final exam with a score of 4  (Scored 1 to 9) or better for the course are allowed to take the National Test.  Students passing the National Test with an 70% or better are allowed to pay $100.00 for 3 credits from the University of Minnesota, allowing the class to be included in the official transcript from the UoM or other accredited colleges (check out www.pltw.org).  These engineering credits can be used for elective credits and transferred to any college in the United States.
